Privacy Policy

NÚA is a small studio in Sweden, making ring jackets by hand for the Oura Ring. We believe that taking care of your data is part of taking care of you as a customer. This policy explains, in plain language, what information we collect, why we need it, and how we keep it safe.

When you sign up for our newsletter, we ask for your email address. You are welcome to add your name, but you do not have to.

When you make a purchase, we collect the details needed to deliver your order: your name, email address, delivery address and, if you choose to share it, a phone number. Your payment information is handled by our payment provider and never stored on our servers.

As you browse the site, we also gather some routine technical information to help it run smoothly: your IP address, browser type, language settings, and which pages you visit.

We use your information to confirm your newsletter subscription, process and ship your orders, send order confirmations and updates, and occasionally share news about new products when you have agreed to hear from us. We also rely on this data to improve the website, keep our accounts in order, and meet legal requirements such as tax and bookkeeping rules.

We process your data on one of three legal grounds: your consent, which you give when subscribing to the newsletter; the need to fulfil our contract with you when you place an order; or our legal obligations around accounting and tax.

We only share your data with trusted partners who help us run NÚA: payment processors to handle transactions, logistics partners to deliver your order, our email provider to send newsletters, and bookkeeping services for legal financial reporting. Each of these partners is bound by confidentiality and processes data in line with GDPR.

Newsletter details are kept until you unsubscribe. Order records are kept for seven years to comply with Swedish accounting law. Website analytics data is kept for up to one year.

You have the right to access the information we hold about you, correct anything that is wrong, ask us to delete it in certain cases, and limit how we use it. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the link in every email. You also have the right to object to some types of processing.

Our site uses functional cookies so that basic features work, and analytics cookies so we can understand how visitors use the site. You can disable cookies in your browser settings if you prefer.

We protect your data with SSL encryption. We never store payment details directly; our payment partners handle them according to strict security standards.

If any data is transferred outside the EU/EEA, we make sure appropriate safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses, are in place.
